There is a new community coming to Surfside Beach, Beazer is building on the former Wicked Stick Golf Course at the corner of Coventry Blvd and Bypass 17. The land is being cleared and the infrastructure is underway. The plans call for approximately 200 homes featuring natural gas with a price range of $240,000 to $400,000. The number of floor plans available has not been determined. Take a quick look at the progress being made when driving past that area.

This is a fast growing area of the beach with The Surfside Beach Club almost sold out and the condos at The Villages at Queens Harbour. Some locals are referring to that stretch of Bypass 17 as the southern 'Restaurant Row' - look for another restaurant opening near Kohl's.
