As many of you do, I work from my home office.  I'm able to work longer hours, be more efficient, and spend more time with my family all at once - if that makes any sense.
I save time, money, and gas.  Most importantly - time.

Sadly though, with all that time I spend in my home office, I have neglected the space itself.
I promise – I do follow the same rules I outline for ERG sellers - the space is dedicated to work.  It isn't confused with a dining room or a playroom and the furniture in here is clearly to function for a home office.
But there's no color...no style....no excitement.
Only really nice black furniture (if I don't say so myself), and me.
Feverishly working for my current and future ERG clients!

The room has fallen to the bottom of the list of spaces for us “to do” in our home.
And we all know the trouble Caryn and I have pulling the trigger on things like this.
If you don't remember, read my previous post Overwhelming Design Dilemma? No Problem!

So even though I know it's on the bottom of our "to-do" list, I need a minute here
in my home office to daydream about all that my future home office could be.

I could go masculine and tribal, with the grass wall covering, masks, and leather….

Although I’m sure my house full of girls would rather I go in this direction:

BUT THAT’S NOT HAPPENING.

I like the built in shelving here…..

But this feels a little bit more like me…

Okay, back to work in the office I’m in for now.  More day dreaming later….
